Kind of look like part of the push pins that hold the grill on but not exactly. Are they plastic or metal?

Not for the grill. They are metal and about 3 inches in diameter.

I see some U bolts a nut plate some skid plate bolts. Looks like a factor 55 bolt key. Cotter pins. Some rubber flanges.
