I know it's been a while since I've made any posts about Jane, our 1974 Jeep CJ-5 Renegade and I thought some of you might appreciate knowing that we still do drive her on a regular basis and whenever possible, give her a little love as well. Most recently, Cindy and I finally got around to doing what we've been wanting to do for quite some time now and that's to get her a new set of hiking shoes. Specifically, we got her a set Cooper Discoverers STT Pro tires. Here are a few shots of what she looks like now.

First up, this is what Jane looked like with her old BFG AT's.

And here are a few shots of what her new Cooper STT Pros sitting next to her, just to get an idea of what they'll look like.

Even thought her new STT Pros are 31x10.50's just like the BFG AT's she's wearing, I think you can see here that the Cooper's are clearly bigger.

Not that I don't trust anyone to drive Jane but... I don't. Needless to say, I put Jane on stands and pulled her wheels so that we could just have her new shoes installed on them.

And, yesterday morning, Rusty took them out to get mounted up.

Still without question or at least for me, one of the best looking tread around.

And there you have it, I hope you enjoyed seeing what Jane looks like now with a brand new set of Cooper STT Pros

EDIT : Oh, and for those of you who haven't seen it before, here's a YouTube Playlist highlighting the video series we did on Jane a couple of years back.

Yeah baby - white letters out! :clap2: Love the look and great knowing those tires are badass as well!

It's nice to see the white lettering being shown on the tires...gives it a retro feel...and if you squint your eyes a bit, I think you can see the Wayalife logo in the tread blocks...

It's definitely a looker...but so is Rusty...

What a perfect combo. Beautiful setup.

Thanks! Couldn't agree more :yup:

Great looking jeep. Those decals are sharp.

Thank you. The decals cost a small fortune and were a bitch to install. What really sucks is that I screwed up the first set I got

Oh yeah, gotta keep it looking like a classic :yup:

Turning into an all Cooper family. :thumb:

Well, we really do love these tires and love the fact that they're still made in the USA :usa-flag:

:cheesy: I can't say I've ever looked but maybe... just maybe I can see it.

I love Jane. 😍

It makes me happy you stayed with the white lettering... Really fits her look. Excellent job on preserving a classic! 🍻

I don't think it'd look right any other way :yup:

Looks great! The narrow track axles plane those tires out perfectly with the fenders. Love it!

Thanks and I agree :)

LOL, I used these on our whitewalls(!) when my dad made me wash our cars :thumb:
The brass brush works great on the white letters too

Yup, a perfect combination to keep your letters looking nice and white :yup:

Looks great... And cool Video.. I need to sit down watch more of your old Iron videos.... being I’m not really on the “up n’ up” with classic Jeeps, it been really fun learning about them here and I thank you & this community for that. [emoji1417]
