Offroad Evolution shop thread!

Me either. I was wanting to get it ASAP but may go with wheels first. The problem is I was wanting to wait on wheels until I got 37s which would require more lift (which I haven't decided on), lift would require driveshaft and drag link flip, 37s would require EVO carrier, which would take us back to the carrier. All of which requires more money right now. It's a viscous cycle. Lol.

Ha no shit. Tell me about it. All why i still have the 35s lol. Damn dana 30. Wish i new more about jeeps when i bought it lol.

Yeah that's another thing. I have a rubi and will just be punishing the factory front 44 for a while. If/when 37s come, I will probably have to roll on the factory 4.10s and lockers until I either break something or save enough money to upgrade front axle to pr44.

Luckily we are buying a house and work will be 5-10 min away depending on route and traffic. So I don't think I will be bothered by 4.10s and 37s for a while.

You should be good as long as you stay off the skinny pedal. When you start hitting the rev limiter is where you get into trouble.

Gotta take a minute and give a shout out to Off Road Evolution for the amazing customer service. The details are minor, but the dedicated service is kick ass.

Time to get the HEMI out of EVO1 and to the engine builder

Lot's of stuff going on at the Off Road Evolution Shop. We are taking the 6.1 HEMI out of our 07 Jeep, EVO1 to get rebuilt for the 2016 King of the Hammers.

The KMC Machete forged beadlock wheels are looking so good on the red paint. We run 40x13.50R17 Nitto Trail Grapplers.

Check out how the whole front end comes off. We were able to keep all the KChilites wiring attached to the Jeep. No re-wiring needed.

So awesome how you guys figured out how to make the whole front removable, and also super strong. Still crazy how far back you got the motor mounted.
