I always thought she seemed sincere in bringing back America to what it should be. And she seemed sincere in wanting to bring to justice powerful people that raped children in recent days. I didn't really follow her heavily but she seened to support Trump and America first. I just don't understand why Trump turned on her over that. Just makes no sense to me. This whole Epstein thing seems like it should be so simple. We all know what happened. Congress should hold every person accountable.

If you don't pay a speeding ticket, you go to jail. They find you and you lose. But you rape a kid in NY, FL, or Virgin Islands, the evidence doesn't exist and you're free. That's the example that is currently set it seems.

I get that the pedo thing is something that troubles you deeply and it should but if you're honest with yourself, there was a time when it just wasn't a thing. There was a time when nobody cared about who that guy was even when they should have. And, don't get me wrong here but there was even a time when even you never said a thing about Epstein even though he had been convicted for being a pedo and twice. Not trying to say what he did wasn't a big deal but it really is rich for people like MTG or anyone who matters to now making Epstein into a crusade and "for the victims". If it really mattered, they would have done something about back in 2019 when they were still controlled everything, 2008 when he was first convicted or back when he was a free man and everyone in power knew what he was doing. But then, that's just my opinion.

That said, MTG was ALWAYS creepy to me. She always reeked of being a super fan and a borderline stalker. I think any normal person would try distancing themselves from people like that and when when they do, super fans like that get butthurt and will turn on you. Look at Chris Christy - super fan until Trump didn't give him a position in his first term. Look at Michael Choen - super fan until Trump didn't make him AG. I almost got the same feeling about Elon Musk but fortunately, they were able to work things out and so good for them both. All this, I totally get and have personally seen shit like this and people like her in my life. MTG loved being in the spot light and the only reason why people cared about anything she did or said is because of her super fandom of the orange man bad and that's why she went to bat for him. She wanted to run for Senate and wanted his endorsement but she didn't have the poll numbers and he doesn't like losers. Granted, this is his account of things but you if you look, her poll numbers did suck and to me, I can totally see how someone like her would take up a cause that'd be unfavorable to the guy you were once a super fan, someone you'd always go to bat for and especially if he's no longer giving you love. Again, if MTG really cared about the victims of the pedo, where in the fuck was she back when it could have made a bigger difference. But again, that's just me.

She is not wrong about the Epstein stuff but also I think she’s butthurt she didn’t get in tighter with trump or a job in the trump office. And if she’s there to help the people why resign? Keep pushing to help the people.

2 things can be true at the same time. She's not wrong about the pedo stuff but neither is someone like Elise Stefanik, someone who's a survivor of rape herself. MTG is definitely butthurt and for not getting in tighter with the orange man bad and she's only resigning so that she can keep the spotlight on her and now picking up well paying MSM gigs. Yes, the Epstein thing should have been dealt with a long time ago. I think that's why I've been so hopeful in the last year that it sounded like people would be held accountable. For so long, it was suppressed and in the last year, it's really hit headlines.

Why else would they continue to maintain a friendship with him, ask for money from him and take text message orders during a congressional hearing targeting the orange man bad and AFTER he'd been convicted TWICE for being a pedo.

While I share your enthusiasm for accountability, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't holding my breath.

As far as people being ‘connected’ to Epstein- networking is critical in DC and within that world. It’s all about who you know. That was the very basis of Epstein’s worth, he knew everyone, that was what the ‘Little Black Book’ actually was.

My predictions about the Epstein situation:

1) No matter what additional details come out some people will say the ‘truth’ is still being covered up, will be angry and will continue to advance additional conspiracies.

2) Much of what people believe about Epstein and what went on is not actually based in fact.

3) Epstein conspiracies will continue to divert attention from more important issues for many years to come and that distraction is actually helpful to the ‘Deepstate’ and others who benefit from the division and paralysis of those trying to solve national issues.

Had Trump not run for office, I bet Epstein would be very much alive still doing what he had been and all those wealthy now pacing late nights waiting to see if they get called out would still be visiting his island.

As far as I'm concerned, it's been over since democrats fucked it up, I doubt anyone else will go to jail, they all have the wealth to buy and keep their freedom, their reputations will also survive, and they will continue to increase their wealth.

Midterms are coming fast, and republicans are too busy with their finger up their ass and IMO, have nothing to offer to fix this fucking economy, healthcare costs or supply chain issues.

This may have been the democrat plan, keep Trump busy with wars and Epstein, healthcare in order to claim they have the answers.
