Gen4 has removable back straps, grips are rough textured. The one pictured is older, still has a light rail, but no removable back straps, and no fancy rough grips.

This is a G31 chambered in .357SIG G17 is the 9mm.

S&W bodyguard? Shot it, meh. Had a couple failures in the first 100 rounds. Hope you have better luck. I just sold my Ruger LCP. That thing was great. Friggin nail driver!
