I just finished installing my transfer case skid from Rock Hard. It seems KP and I had the same experience where a "perfect installation plan" blew up. I'm telling you, my plan was FLAWLESS. Right up until the bolt holes didn't line up. Persistence, F-bombs, and hydraulic lifts always prevail.
Cannot wait to get up there, but Ballz, you keep your big stick to yourself. I'll bring your dog leashes in case you step out of line.
Didn't I hear the same thing about the evo skid. Sounds like a common problem. Thinking

They eventually lined up just fine, but it required some...'gentle' encouragement from a mallet, a long screwdriver, and some terse words. A one man installation is sure to have some comedy. My problem was that somewhere between removing the rear 4 bolts for the transmission/oil pan skid and re-inserting them with the new t-case skid installed, the transmission skid moved forward 1/4". It's all good, and I would endorse these skids for anyone who wants to increase their bottom armor. However, as WAYALIFE says, they are not essential equipment. Especially if you've put a lift on your rig. I just like the peace of mind knowing that I'm protected until my Jarhead JK gets some new shoes and grows a couple of inches.

True story. Except lining up (after failed flawless plan. How could it fail?!?) for me required ratchet straps and a factory jack to line things up. Truth be told, I wouldn't mind loosening up all the bolts after this trip and trying to line things up a little better.

This page is in dire need of a bump
And yes I was gona say I pitched this so in am definitely in. Only thing is I don't exactly have a badass costume lined up. I am also a huge huge Star Wars nerd. I have a ton of FX lightsabers and a fiberglass Jango Fett helmet but not the rest of the suit lol. I do have a kick ass Joker costume from Dark Knight so maybe I'll wear that.
I think its illegal to be a man and not love Star Wars. :yup:
Wow 100 pages.....
Joker would be sick and hey what the hell bring the light saber anyway lol
I don't always wheel , but when I do I keep it tight......... Stay dirty my friends.
That's about the right time to start a packing list for next weekend if you haven't already. Who's bringing a grill since we don't have one as part of the pavilion?
This should do the trick... http://partykinggrills.com/shop/swingn-smoke-mvp-grillsI'm thinking about buying one, any suggestions
