We finally got some snow in SoCal! Seasonal average for this time of year in Big Bear is 29". We got our first 3" yesterday.
Anybody been out to play in it yet? Curious what it's like back towards Holcomb Valley.
Really hoping a few more storms roll through soon.

The best part was last Friday it hit 70 degrees AND SNOWED THAT SAME NIGHT.... :doh:

Similar situation up here in WA... Above 5,000ft and only a couple of inches in this spot. Normally this time of year we are pushing through two feet or more :grayno:

Alta Sierra/Greenhorn Summit just over an hour northeast of Bakersfield. It’s pretty close in proximity to Freeway Ridge Trail if your familiar... at around 7000’ it’s as close to the Tahoe scenery I can get at this time!
