Sporadic's "Cool Hand Luke" Build Thread

So, after a few years of really enjoying my 2013 JKU Sahara and learning a great deal from this forum along the way, I found myself wanting to start a build thread. The journey has been quite slow for various reasons but fun none the less. There are a few things I would have done differently if only I owned a DeLorean with a flux capacitor (i.e. Rubi, all labor and a tad more research on suspension kit) but all-in-all I'm very happy with my rig to date.

I had a tough time coming up with a name for my Jeep and only recently settled on the name "Cool Hand Luke". My wife and I named our Son Luke partially after the Gospel of Luke and then the Paul Newman character. I know, worlds apart right? But still fitting.

I purchased my first JK on October 9, 2012 after trading in a 2011 (WK2) Grand Cherokee Limited. Here are pics of both after a long day of closing the deal.

Night I brought him home after receiving the 2.5" AEV Dual Sport XT suspension lift with Rancho RS9000XL adjustable shocks, dual Bilstein SS, JKS sway bar disconnects and 35" 12.50 r18 Nitto Trail Grapplers over Moto Metal 961 wheels with custom painted inserts in Mopar Bright White.

Rig looks great Sporadic. I can never get over how much of a difference new shoes make, the body coloured inserts make them really pop.
can't wait to see what else you do or have done.

Time to get the 3rd brake light back after upgrading to 35's.
Modified the original light assembly by chopping it down with a grinding wheel.
