So I called the Stealer today and they quoted me $155 for a new evap canister.

Anyone with a 2012+ know if they changed the part? I thought they were around $80?

Me thinks I'll try my hand at some plastic epoxy before I order one. :idontknow:

Did it work? What'd you use? I think JB weld makes some plastic stuff.

I just used a gorilla glue epoxy. Not sure how bad yours is. Mine broke when I tried to pull off the rear hose when it was cold outside. The whole plastic spout just tore off.

And yeah it worked. The hardest part was rigging it up to hold steady and straight while curing.

I'd use a different product if I had to do it again though. Wasn't super strong and took forever to cure.

I was thinking about the relocation kit and then thought I could actually reinforce the factory skid with some gussets. Nothing like welding around some exhaust fumes.

It's simple. Get empty Budweiser box, razor blade and duct tape. Give to your kids and tell them it's art class. Bam. Done and you had someone else do it without paying. :thumb:

Really? Have you tried both? I have not worked with either so I don't know. This seems pretty simple. It sets up in 6 minutes.
