The Pumpkin "Build"

Waiting for the roll bar mount for the powertank. Waiting for the SwitchPro. Got to put in the CMM grab handle, but no time today. Had new ball joints (moog) and Artek C Gussets installed. I know everyone says a TJ doesn't need gussets, but what the hell. Can never be too strong. Only thing I'm gonna do to the stock axle while saving my pennies for a set of PROROCKS. At least now, I have a chance of running 37's this summer.

Metal Cloak modified cut flare mounts, also without the detachable flares..... I like it naked. Might have to get flares sometime but don't really want to. The thing I like about the MCs is that the flares pull on and off with two bolts.

Artec C Gussets installed with Moog ball joints. They shop did a good job welding them up. Should beef up the stock D44 for a while. Time for 37" sneakers.

Moogs are lifetime replacement warranted so every time they wear out due to big tires and wheel spacers I can get the replacement ball joints free of charge. I guess I'll learn how to install them myself

Pulled the hardtop off...

Also, removed the roll bar padding in preparation for the next step in roll cage development. Still planning what I am going to do, but was wondering what if anything anyone else did with the speaker and dome light wires when they removed the padding? I can't leave that exposed and vulnerable.

I think I will run them INSIDE the roll bars, after I make additions and reinforcements. Any suggestions would be appreciated please.

Anybody have an experience with A to Z Fabrication out of PA? Going to see if they can work up a custom rear section that will mount my spare up in the cargo area like a pre-runner style pickup truck.....

Thoughts?

Fingers crossed that the welder will get it done this week early, going to be awesome weather on Saturday. I want this back together

Also put dual horns under the hood to replace the weak factory trumpet. Definitely louder if not as deep as I had hoped.
