The Things I learned This Week

Ok, not sure if this is the right place or not but I'm a new jeep owner and wanted to share some random things I've learned this week while playing about in the jeep.
1. Top down and doors off is AWESOME! Sure you may lose a hat when a side gust of wind decides you are not worthy of such wonderful headgear, but I highly recommend it.
2. That windshield (which I've heard is prone to rock chips) is also a great bug magnet! Seriously, on the back country roads, I passed through a swarm of what I believe were locusts or irradiated, mutant grasshoppers. Either way, the windshield was soon coated quite nicely in a multicolored paste of EWWW. Keep those wiper fluid tanks filled up my people!
3. Random Dogs. Apparently people aren't the only ones who like Jeeps. At a stop light, I ended up with a rear seat passenger quite unexpectedly when Milo (Name supplied by owner screaming from the sidewalk) lept in. Eager for a tour through the countryside apparently. Unfortunately Milo was an obedient sort of pooch and rejoined his owner before I could snap a pic.
4. Farmland sprinklers are both an impromptu car wash and a means to cool ones self down after a long day in the sun with a topless and doorless Jeep. So long as you're ready for it. I'm not talking about the small sort of sprinklers used on your lawn. These are industrial grade WATER CANNONS that deluge an area with a refreshing cascade of wet. Incidentally, this is also quite helpful in cleaning off the windshield of the aforementioned mutant grasshopper swarm.

Think that's all for now.

Yes, naked is awesome! That’s hilarious that the dog jumped in your rig. 😂

Not sure i would ever take mine off here in Colorado. Every wheeling trip i take, it never fails to storm sometime during the day regardless of the forcast.

The onetouch roof is as close to topless i would go.
