Tire climbing question

back when i was stock with larger tires and cut fenders,
climbed my buddies 35" tire with no lockers, no sway bars, and it was not difficult at all, rubber+rubber=awesome traction. just drove right up.(with a spotter to make sure i didn't drive into fender...) :idontknow:

Bump...

I am assuming you should be in 4L for tire climbing? Are there any ill effects to the drive train doing this on a paved surface? Won't mess up the 4wd?

Is 4H better? :idontknow:

4 Low, dry pavement is ok as long as you aren't spinning tires and take it slow.

We used to tire hump during the parades, here's 4 of us from a crappy video recorded from the local news broadcast.
That's my Tj -one of the second set of jeeps. We did the tire humping at every intersection during the parade, was a big crowd pleasurer :thumb:

Nice pics everyone!

We had an interesting time with the Blue YJ. The Other YJ has a diesel conversion and front locker, it worked out.

When I tried to climb the YJ on the end it was a bit shaky so we decided it wouldn't be prudent. So I just climbed the other JK.

He was a little worried about his fender so I didn't roll all the way up.

I think they are 16.5" boggers. We don't rag on him for having boggers on though. ;)

It's his first Jeep and he was going for the look he wanted. I would never have put that type of tire on my Jeep. :D
