Tire size and lift ?

Hello Guys, I know this kind of question been asked a lot, the thing is I was planning to run 33x12,50x17 with stock chopped fenders and no lift but I couldn't find this Tire size in local stores , Only found 305x70x17 which is equals to 33.8X12.01R17. Is this tire size Ok or I have to go with 2,5" lift ?

I am running this wheel

yes you can run a 33 with no lift. you dont even have to trim your fenders with a 33

To be clear, an advertised 33x12.50 tire will have an ACTUAL SIZE of about 31". A 305/70R17 will have an ACTUAL SIZE of almost 34" and that is actually slightly BIGGER than most advertized 35x12.50 tires. The later will have an ACTUAL measurement of about 33".

Just trying to help you understand what you're really wanting to do here.

This is true but an advertised 33" tire will have an ACTUAL measurement of about about 31". This is considerably smaller than a 305 that has ACTUAL measurement of about 33.8".

I run 35's and no lift ... you'll want a lift for the trail...otherwise no problems
goota do the fenders the front bumper and the airdam... but you need more backspacing than stock wheels have...doh just reread post..thought you said 35's not 33's...
