C'mon guys show off you ingenuity. the necessity to fix something that has been broke to get outta the trail has always brought out some really awesome solutions. to drive with broken axles or weld something with car battery's.

Busted a d60 30spline outer. Welded what was left of the shaft to the hub. Knew it would not last but had to try it anyway. It actually held for a bit but the axle broke again in a different spot just down the trail. two pics show the second break and the outer still welded to the unit bearing when I removed it. I have upgraded to 35 spline chromoly shafts!

That's pretty impressive. The most I've done is use a couple of wrenches to help repair a broken axle housing...

 
Fast forward to 10:18 and you'll get to see us pulling the ring gear out of our busted Dana 44...

 
At 4:54, you see how we used a heavy duty trailer strap, a 6" ratchet extension and duct tape to help get us off the trail after breaking a track bar mount...

 
DAM!!! thats really awesome im scared to pull the carrier for a lunchbox locker install and you guys did it on the fly wow really great:clap2:

was not that bad we did not have to pull the carrier all the syider gear were laying in the bottom of the diff housing.
