WAYALIFE Rockin Rubicon Run 2014 : June 15th - 17th

:cheesy: And you know this how?

Occupational exposure ;)

Do that and you will poop your brains out and get rid of all the healthy flora in your gut...then the Imodium will constipate you. No thanks!

All correct except the good flora part. Antibiotics are usually the main cause of that. But if you did this and were really concerned, just eat some Greek yogurt to help with natural flora production :yup:

Anyone interested in constructing a bathroom, wal-mart is cheaper than amazon. They had the wag bags also under this brand I think. Also, cheaper then amazon. I didn't get a picture of those with prices unfortunately. I figured I'd rig this up and strap it to my jeep to protect me from bears...and more importantly...Moochie...

Looks like I'll be checking out the crappers at the local Walmart. 💩

We bought a toilet seat that fits perfectly on a Home Depot bucket, works great. You just put a bag inside the bucket. So if you hear something that sounds like a bear giving birth in the middle if the night, that would be me sittin' on my bucket.

How's the fishing at Rubicon Springs?

With that many mosquitoes up there they may not be hungry at all.:cheesy:

As someone that also has sweet blood that attracts mosquitoes. ;) When we have done the Rubicon Trail in the past, I have used, “Sawyer Premium Insect Repellent CLOTHING”. I spray my jeans, socks, shirt and jacket. I wore them at night and I think on the trail as well?? Anyway, if I remember right, not one bite. :thumb:

I'm going to look for that stuff!

Finally had a chance to catch up with MTG at dinner last night and he told me about this run. Haven't been on wayalife too much let alone my own website. Flight school and a new kid has been kicking my butt. Would love to be a stand by on this trip if possible. Got the time off and would love to join.

Would be great if you could join us Chris!

I have always had good luck with 100% deet.

But beware... no spandex friendly....

It was good catching up last night Chris. I hope you can make this!

Worst case be a co-pilot?

Deet alternatives?

So I've been researching about mosquitos as I am hoping my better 3/4 is coming on this run. She gets eaten alive by any type of bug. I've used Deet before and will do so again if I have to, but after doing some research I'd prefer to use something a little less...well, toxic.

Anyone try this before?

Repel Lemon Eucalyptus Insect Repellent Pump

Any other suggestions short of making her wear a giant net? :idontknow:

Less toxic? Your becoming more of a pussy and a hippie in your old age.

:cheesy: That's probably true. But the truth shall set you free my friend. Namaste.

And the truth is, I'd like to save the ol' liver for better stuff like wine and vodka. :thumb:

Frankly as long as the wife and Eddie are around I don't have to worry about getting bit by anything. :cheesy:
