Replaced the rubber bushings in my new leaf springs with Polyurethane bushings. Next up is the installation of the springs and Fishbone shackles. View attachment 382593

Polyurethane bushings can be super-squeaky. What did you do to try to prevent that?

I used some Prothane grease.

Dropped it off at Motech for an LT1 / 10 speed / Atlas swap.

Careful with tuning, California has found a way to deep dive PCM's and supposedly are going to start smog failing any vehicle that shows signs of the PCM ever being tampered with for tuning. Do some looking online, I don't remember all the details or if anyone has come up with a workaround (I think I saw someone talking about just keeping a factory PCM for smog checks, but then I think you are going to run into issues with the displayed mileage of the vehicle). Probably worth looking into before doing something that can't be easily undone.

I have already purchased another factory pcm. You know, for science…

Spent all day Saturday with my brother installing a Rough Country 2.5" lift and Fishbone 3/4" shackles. We will finish it up today.

Did the frame horn chop ( per Eddie's Video)
Removed the Towbar , Demco Stay in play
Removed all wiring to it including the 7 pole at the rear
Repaired the Brake light/ turn signal wires after removing the diodes
Installed rugged ridge stubby bumper with X striker ( weighs 58.80 lbs )
Installed aluminum license plate holder with custom plate
Installed Carolina Metal Master mirrors for doors off operation
Installed Synergy 1.75 wheel spacers
Installed A Dead Pedal
Next up today-
Hothead headliner
Spiderweb shade
ED's CB bar
