That does suck...but I got a HELL-Of-A deal on this one so I would have felt bad offering you this price and stealing it from ya ;)

Why aren't you going to use it on the new rig? Did you not like it?

Where'd you score deal? I'm looking at OR fab in future. Is yours new or used and where. Spill Chris spill.

Night of deals on this thread. Where'd you find it for $1k?

In el segundo right by lax some surfer guy he said he never used the winch just a couple times the air compressor took Friday off just to go pick it up before I lost it lol

haha I got it used from someone in MINT condition with water and gas Jerry's. I wish it were a store and you know I'd spread the wealth! :thumb:

here it is!

Did my own highsteer drag link. Got the bushing from northridge and a friend ordered the right hand drive drag link. 109 bucks and 20 minutes. Also cut off the factory axle side trackbar and installed a synergy weld on track bar braket. With the steering and rear bracket it drive as good as a small tire factory jeep again.

Okay so after installing my 35's this week I realized there was some nasty rubbing on the rear of the rubi rails. So I decided to chop them down a couple of inches. This was before;

I marked the approximate location of the cut with tape:

I used a sawzall with a metal blade to chop it down (after removing the end caps):

Sanded and painted the edge to prevent rust:

After replacing the end caps with a little RTV Silicone much better clearance:

Then just for good measure I made sure there were no other issues to address after giving it a full tuck:

Looks good. I did the same but 9x17 inch wheels. I haven't trimmed my fenders yet. It makes a huge difference in the way it looks in the fender area.
