What was your first vehicle?

1985 my first car, bought it for $300 always tinkered on it.. In the end it had a 440 with 4 barrel holly auto slap stick with 3.73 gears & was way to fast! Sold it in 1999 for $4800 & still miss that old beast... ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1401645169.702808.jpg

'56 Ford F100 sold before I even truly enjoyed it (no license was 15).

Got a '55 when I was 17 and licensed and drove this through high school and after for a couple years.

Didn't buy a "new" car till I was in my 20's and needed a more reliable mode of transportation and it was a 2001 Chev S-10. Talk about a blow to the gut. Sold my old pick ups and was now in what I thought the gayest truck around. Lol

It's funny when you look back. I had a friend sell his 68 camaro to by an 86 Mazda pickup.

My first vehicle was a 2009 Mini Cooper. Bought it off a friend of mine who was posted out of the country. He had only had it for two years, and for one of those it was in storage since he couldn't take it with him, so it was practically a new car.

Man, that was a fun ride. It handled like a go cart. It was awesome to drive on road... but of course that was it's main drawback. I still miss it...

Oddly enough, I almost sold it back to the guy I bought it from when I was going to get my Jeep, but he found out he was going overseas again and decided he wanted something more capable - and yet he got a Ford Edge. Man, the dude just doesn't get it.

Didn't my first vehicle until I was in the Navy. I bought a 07 Silverado with a 6 inch lift and 35 inch tires loved that until I saw the light that is my Jeep

My ride back in 1995 when I was 16 in high school. I could drag a cigarette box laying flat on the ground.

Vw bug paid $300 when I lived in Germany. Ex-buddy totaled it. Then an 1973 or 1976 Austin Mini Cooper for $100. Both were fun. Had no speedo and other seats were missing in the mini. Had a recarro racing seat in it. I remember an MP pulling me over and was floored that It actually passed inspection. Oh, I'm 6'2" and high school weight was about 250. So I looked a little funny in it.

73 Plymouth duster

Hey man what did you have in that Duster? I remember my dad having one, on the column standard shift,........ and fast as hell. I was just a kid but I remember sitting in the back seat as he spun the tires,.......... smoke and all. We called it daddy's roller skate! :thumb:

07 DRZ 400. I've bought a new one since, but it was summer in New England and couldn't resist the riding weather. I will say one thing, studded tires in the middle of winter in the northeast was a blast. I was that crazy guy on the motorcycle. Haha miss those days.
