That building looked familiar!! I was born and raised in Amarillo. That's the health sciences building across the street from the VA hospital isn't it? I graduated EMT and the Fire Academy there. I'm now a registered nurse, director of cardiovascular services and chest pain coordinator for a hospital here in Dallas.

50% of the time this is my view from home office



But I work in comms field, so I get out a lot ...NYC , Boston, etc...

But like some of the guys on the thread I have done designs and implement systems at Army, Navy, Coast Guard , Nuke plants, Pratt, Sikorski, Sub Base, Hospitals, Insurance co's...etc

My fav was Sikorski, got to sit in a BlackHawk....badass, can't imagine what's like to fly one...sub base close second..the tests cells at Pratt and Sikorski are impressive to say the least
