Fishing, light offroading, but TONS of skeeters! The road isn't anything like what I see on the wayalife vids or anything, but it's fun and a good intro to backcountry jeep roads. Fishing was decent too - size 16 Royal Wolf and size 18 Mosquito Emerger did well for me in the evening.

Shame on the park Rangers at Yellowstone NP that didn't want to give my daughter a badge for her collection. Left a horrible taste in my mouth for Yellowstone and NP Rangers in general.

Damn, that's some shit right there.

Doesn't have to be! As long as it's seeing some dirt, you're doing it right.

Took me to the hospital to welcome our little girl into the world!

Awesome, congrats!

This past weekend was a milestone of achievements for me. I joined the local 4WD group on their Rubicon Run. It was my first experience at camping - no running water or flush toilets (any kinda toilets to be precise), sleeping out (ok - I have an airtop auto-home), and serious off-road 4 wheeling. The support and camaraderie was amazing, I honestly had no idea what these vehicles (including my own) are capable of, and the no toilet thing - well, I guess I'll just have to get used to that part. I was shown a whole new world. To those of you active in this sport, I know I am preaching to the choir, but - wow, what a great sport. I have been missing out.

To all of those who shared their experience and helped me through the rough spots - thank you.

Love your rig!

Went up and played in the Sierras today. Went solo so stuck to easy trails. Played in the Black Springs area and then came out the Corral Hollow trail. Beautiful day up there to get out of the 100 degree heat in the Central Valley.
