Looks like a lot of the trees at Devils Punchbowl, pretty cool wherever it is.

Ahh, not too far off. The place I was thinking has these cool looking Manzanita trees and it is between Palmdale and Victorville in Southern California, just south of the 138.

I've been close to where these trees are but, never visited them. I think they are some of the oldest living things on the earth!
