Which Dynamax muffler would you recommend for your JK Unlimited???

I may be in the market to upgrade my muffler system. Was curious to see which product you guys would recommend and why? I'm still a relative noob...need your feedback bros!

I just got the dynomax evo comp exhaust (part#39522) for my 2012 jku. I'm very pleased with the sound of it! Not too loud cruising down the freeway but you hear it when accelerating

Hey guys,

For all the 2 doors I did some research and called Dynomax and confirmed a way we can run this inexpensive Cat back system. (39522)
The only thing we will need is a new inlet pipe from Dynomax which is part number 52515.

Other than the sound...has it improved your performance any? Hp/torque?

It sounds faster... I Don't think anything short of a supercharger or a motor swap will really give you noticeable gains in horsepower or torque in the jk's. I've heard from a few people that mpg's will increase slightly. I just filled up last night so we will see if that holds true

Cool. Keep me posted.

I just bought the muffler from the rock crawler kit on amazon and had it welded in the stock location, part number 17236 Ultra Flow. It sounds great! It's only missing 2 things, 2 more cylinders lol. But it sounds good for a v6. Not ricey at all, nice and deep tone.

So that new pipe replaces the one in the kit and that's it, I like how this dumps out by the rear tire for sure and is out of the way.

Can you run it? Yes
But we do not call it out for a 2 door model, only the 4 door models.
The reason being is that on a 2 door there needs to be a 2.5" cut to make the hangers line up.
Is it hard to make this cut? Nope. Test fit it first and then make the cut, ie measure ten times, and cut once.
If you do not make the cut, it dumps near the the e-brake and we don't like that.
That is why we don't call it our for a 2 door.
Thanks!

So, can you run the 39522 on a 2014 2 door?

Are you guys with JKU's and the 3.6l experiencing any drone at highway or cruising speeds with the Dynomax 39522?
