I don't have a 2007, I've got a 2013. But in the past, of the 20 or so cars I've had, I only miss one. It was my 1968 Bronco. I don't miss any of the hotrods, pickups, or cars. Hell, I wouldn't even miss my relatively new BMW that my wife and I own if it went away. I did miss one of my XJ's, but now that I have a JKUR I don't miss it anymore.
My JKUR gives me that same feeling the Bronco did. In under a year, and even with it being stock, it became one of those "forever" vehicles. As in, I am going to keep it forever. I can't put my finger on any one thing about it other than it is the perfect vehicle for me.
I do miss having a v8, but then again, it is not out of the question to do a LS swap down the road. (maybe after I have a few more miles under the warranty tho).
