Hey Everyone I have hit the point on my jeep where I have made a decent amount of progress to seem worth it to show it off now! This is my 2007 Jeep 2 door Rubicon that I bought last April which almost made me single since the girlfriend had been dropping hints about a ring and knew that I was saving my money for something haha. Little did she know that i was really serious about a Jeep! After talking about wanting one for so long and always having to ride shotgun with friends in their Jeeps I decided it was time. This was it the day that I brought it home.

And the next day taking it out for a little test run and some poser shots

After the first week I decided that I could not live with the roof rack on it even if it did mean that there would be holes in the body

After having the Jeep for a few weeks and the better half had come around to it a little more I thought we could take a quick little trip up to Hunter lake since it was pretty close by and not to crazy of a trail. This is where my newbie kicked in, After hearing all the horror stories about people not being prepaired and getting themselves lost in the woods with no food or water I did exactly that. Our quick little trip turned into a 9.5 hour adventure after making a wrong turn and ending up at a locked gate with the river on one side and mountain on the other. All that to realize that we also had a tire that was leaking air! Here are some pics of before the chaos all started

After ruining a tire and not liking the 32's that were on it, it was time to step the game up to some 35" Goodyear Duratracs

Decided to do this from my phone to see if the pics will upload right

After having the 35s on it for a few months the she learned a nice trick that most know as death wobble so it was time to address that issue. Thanks to the help from a friend we put alloy USA ball joints, and Artec C gussets and LCA skids on for more protection

I know most people on here are not fans of Smittybuilt and I can understand that on some of the stuff from them. I decided to go with the XRC bumper and a 9k winch from them which so far i really like alot. I can see where the winch leaves more to be desired and down the road im sure it will be upgraded. The Bumper i liked based off of where they put the winch down between the frame rails to not block the grille and kept the factory fog lights. The coating is not all that great and sometime when i have time it will get pulled of and painted but for now it works for me.

After getting the bumper installed I decided it was time to cut the fenders. Thanks to help from other members here and the write up on Moby from Eddie and Cindy we decided how we wanted it done and I am very happy with the end result

One day I was bored and decided it was time to get rid of the stupid steps that always got in the way and I didn't use anyways and it made such a huge improvement on the looks

I made it a couple months without really doing anything to the Jeep other than getting some exploring done around Reno

Even took it out to sand mountain and other than being underpowered it did great!

Since I was quitting my job at Summit racing and losing my discount it was a good time to splurge on some of the more expensive parts that I wanted. Time for the poison spyder rear bumper, tire carrier and diff covers which having something to compare to the quality of my front bumper this is way way nicer stuff but live and learn I guess

At the same time since Rigid sells truck lite headlights I ordered some of those through summit as well and Oh wow are they nice! And now it looks like that's everything for now. I also have a 50" radiance light bar to go on but I have to save my money for windshield brackets first.

Nice job on the sliders they look great and so does the rest of the jeep

Thanks! I really like how they came out and they are really strong. I almost wish that I had put rocker armor on first because now I wont be able to but I dont really think it will be needed now with what I do with it anyhow
