I'm looking for a mount for my iPhone 5. There's too many to choose from! Any suggestions?

Vector offroad + ram mount for me. I have mine positioned so I can even use it as a poor man's gopro.

Ram mount suction cup with the x grip is what you need. It doesn't care what case you have and it can expand to fit any size.

You can then change the x grip part and go to different devices. Here is a bigger one that fits my iPad mini with or without and otterbox defender.

Another pick of the iPhone Xgrip with the ram mount windshield suction cup.

Hey guys thanks for your input. I'm leaning towards the X-Grip. It seems very versatile.

Look up the part number on their site then order from amazon. The one in my pic is the shorter plastic arm. Most of their mounts are aluminum arms. I ordered an extra arm that's longer so that the x grip for the iPad mini sits further off the windshield. Note that the mini Xgrip is not the same one as the iPhone Xgrip. They are two different xgrips.

I use the ram mount x grip with the 1" ball attachments and the long metal arm. It puts it within easy reach but the leverage is too much an it bounces a lot. I ended up sticking a piece of foam between the arm and my dash.

I did exactly that... Thanks!

So my 2 cents. Over the years I have tried multiple mounts and most of them last for awhile but eventually stop working. My iPhone is in an otter box. I put a 1.5 x 1.5 inch piece of Velcro on the back and the same on the AC vent nearest the driver under the stereo. Works like champ and holds up well on the trail.

Just make sure the vent closes with no up and down rotation. Rotation should be side to side.

How about using the Daystar GPS mount and an Arkon Universal Cell Phone Holder. Mine works great for all types of phones.
