View Full Version : Arb compressor with gear oil

Just installed my new arb air compressor after my other one burned up. As I took off the old air compressor I noticed it was oily which was weird!! I installed my new one and tested it and GEAR OIL IS LEAKING OUT OF IT NOW. What the crAp right' needs help before this one burns up!!

Bummer. Sounds like you have a bad o-ring on your locker.

Is this a rare thing to happen with a ARB locker ? Because Iam having one installed soon....

But oil from the differential is getting into the air lines that go to/from locker and compressor. At least that's how I understand it

somewhere on hear is a guy with the same problem and yes it was coming from the locker.
