Transfer Case Linkage

I know there are a bunch of threads on this already, but none depict the issue I have. Was curious if anyone had any ideas on how to fix this without replacing the whole linkage, or if its worth it to just upgrade to the advanced adapters linkage.

Big heavy duty cable tie. Had to do this with mine.

How'd you attach it ?
