i was thinking about doing this setup because i added the synergy trackbar brace and it said to add 3 in bump stops. it looks to me that when i do that i have about 3in of travel which is kinda lame. would i really gain anything with the spacer or is it better to just buy the 3.5 spring.

this is for a 2dr by the way. i have adjustable lcas, trackbar, draglink.

3" of up travel, your shocks will determine down travel. Watch your flex and make sure you don't hurt your brake lines

You're supposed to add about the same amount of bump stop extension as you have lift. This is to help prevent the over compression of your coils. As mentioned, you will only have 3" of up travel but up travel does not = total travel. Your shocks will determine how much droop you have. BTW, 2" spacers on top of 2.5" coils will give you 4.5" of lift. That's more lift than I have on my JK running 40's.

I've been running the 2.5 for a while now and I have plenty of room and plenty of flex with 35s and 2.5 bumpstops if I was you I'd just do that and forget the spacer.
