Steering wheel vibration

I am experiencing left to right jerk in my steering wheel when I'm at 40mph to about 50mph. Just wondering if something is loose or its it the tires?

A speed related shake or a shimmy in the steering wheel is almost always a tire balancing issue.

That's good to know thank you.I had my wheels balanced 2,000miles ago so maybe I threw them off.

If you move your fronts to the back and the shake moves to the seat then you will know (unless they are all out of balance)
