2007 JK Oil Light Flashing?

Hey y'all,

My auto 2007 JK is due for an oil change but recently the oil light has been flashing on and off randomly, mostly when accelerating or braking more rapidly than normal. I don't want to change the oil if I'm going to have to drain it to fix this problem. Does anyone have any ideas on what it might be and how I could fix it before I take it to the stealership?

For starters have you checked your oil level? It could be low on oil causing the light to come on...

You NEED to check your oil level as it sounds like you are running really low!
