Who wants to hit up Rowher Flats This Saturday August 22nd.

Rush Canyon and Sierra Hwy at 11AM

$5 Day Pass is available at the Sand Canyon Exit off the 14 Freeway

It's nothing too crazy. You need 4 low to get up a few hills, stock can manage just fine, and it's not sprawling like Big Bear. Pretty confined, probably a total of 3 to 4 hours max to do all that is in the area.

Never been offroading there and it is in my back yard.

But dont you need a pass for that place?

And can i meet you guys at the entrance of siera higway?

Glad you brought up the pass thing, I was there before and did not have one. I just looked at there website, and it states that you must have a pass. I guess I got lucky.

I gave them a call, he told me any WalMart would have them. I also dug around and found out that 7/11 sells them.

As far as meeting there, yeah that 's fine, anyone can meet us there. No point in driving out of your way. I'd say 11AM at the front entrance. Rush Canyon and Sierra Hwy.

How's that sound for everyone.

I'm a maybe. I'll have to see if I can get the day off. Is it pretty technical? My uncle wants to run it too but he has basically a stock JKU.

There's nothing too challenging, and most of the tougher trails have bypasses... On the main trails you will need 4 low to get up, some sections are pretty steep. I took my Jeep before it was modded and had no problems.


I think we will just make the meeting point at main entrance, no need to have two meetup points.

Put me down as a maybe. I don't wanna miss a run that RockyJK is doing. For anyone wondering this place is pretty easy and even easier depending which direction you go. It's still fun to get out and stretch your Jeep's legs a lil and will be a lot of fun with a good group. Hopefully it isn't too windy up top like it usually is.
