Dana 44 question

I have a friend that has a dana 44 front end that he wants to give me cause he just swapped it out for a dana 60. My question is will his 2012 Jeep Jk Dana 44 front end work on my 2008 JK?

Just make sure both front and rear are geared the same. I know it seems logical, but had to say it.

So that would mean that it's a locker as well. You can wire that locker using the below diagrams. The plug labeled '1' is the locker plug (switch on my scribble). Plug '2' is the indicator (actuator on my scribble).
