Are Rubicon lockers the same in older and newer JK's?

I haven't found a definitive answer just yet, but I'm thinking they might be. I want to know if I can easily swap dana 44 axles from an older JK to a newer JK and retain the e-lockers. Curious if the plugs are the same.

To the best of my knowledge, they are exactly the same.
