JK Front End Rebuild

My son had shoulder surgery following his freshman year playing college football - so I had to drive his 2015 JK with 2 1/2” Old Man Emu lift home from Conway, Ak to Dallas...

The last three days have been spent installing Pro Steer ball joints, Terrorflex HD drag and tie (don’t ask - gift - very much appreciated), Pro Comp Shocks and aligning and centering steering wheel. Here are some pic

Had to use the hi-lift handle as a cheater

Had to cut one of the rear shocks off too

Been there as well. Way easier with a Snap-on BJP1 and a 3/4" impact.

Ha! There were times I was wishing I had a 3/4” impact. I did have my 1/2” which made life better (ha - Life is better with a 1/2”)

Embarrassed to admit - but I wasted 2 hours trying to push the lower ball joint UP from the bottom - then by chance was showing a buddy the new ball joints (USA Made) and realized “ WTF! This damn thing pushes out DOWN!”. Felt like such a doofus!

BTW - thanks to whomever posted the How to align your JK in the write ups. Priceless - just like this forum. Appreciate all the help even if I mostly just lurk... I do learn!
