What would a person need to look forward to related to problems in getting a 3" lift with 35" tires. Besides regearing and possibly a new drive shaft.
And some advice on whats a good product of for lifts kits that is. More info on everything would be great for a newbie.

Depends on what year your Jeep is, whether it's a 2-door or 4-door and is it an auto or manual. So, what do you have?

Its a 2 door wrangler sport 2011 automatic.

Okay, being that you have a 2-door with an automatic, I would recommend the following with 3" of lift:

• Rear u-joint style drive shaft
• Rear adjustable upper control arms to set your pinion angle
• Front drive shaft
• Front adjustable lower control arms
• Extended brake lines
• Draglink flip/front track bar relocation bracket
• Rear track bar relocation bracket

More components will only allow you to dial in your ride better but, this is the bare minimum I would go with. If you keep your factory wheels, you'll want to get 1.5" wheel spacers to help clear your 12.50 wide tires. Also, you will want to gusset up your front axle C's as they will bend with the bigger tires.
