so im buying a new diff cover because, when I change the oil there I crack the bold part and now I have a lil crack there , so im buying a new 1 but I don't know what it is and I cant find it anywhere jeep jk 2008 2 door rear 1

donna 30 or 35?

If its the rear it's more likely to be a D44, could be a 35 but most jk's have a rear 44

D30 front and D44 rear.

D35 only came in early model 2007's.

And not even on a whole lot of them. More than likely, the rear end has a Dana 44

as wayolife & OverlanderJK said D30 up front & D44 rear. also consider adding a diff cover up front. I did the TerraFlex up front and really happy with it. Very heavy duty and reasonably priced.
