Discovering Colorado

Much thanks to Jake and Trisha for joining to run Chinaman's Gulch on short notice. 1st time for me and was totally impressed. I got hung up, high centered, stuck, scarred sliders and bumpers and skid plates, and totally enjoyed every minute. The real deal. There is Much tougher out there for sure, but this was great for what I am running! Good Times.

edit: I meant to put this in the where did your jeep take you this week thread.. Mods: feel free to move. Thanks.

That’s awesome! My two year old daughter keeps saying she wants a pink Jeep. That model that your son has looks like it will do the trick!

It’s LEGO brand. The aftermarket support just isn’t there for it though. Lol. He had a red one but it got left accidentally on a trail last month. Had to search to find a replacement but located one on Amazon.

Went up to Keanakolu cabins this weekend at the request of my 10 year old for his birthday. No pictures of the road because I forgot to put memory chips in the cameras before I left. Snapped a couple with my phone during a stop along the way and at the cabins.

I was the only one with a Jeep on this trip... and also the only one who didn’t have any trouble going anywhere we wanted to go. Silly Toyota’s.

Always knew it was a trailer queen. Lol. Man I hope it wasn’t too serious! I love seeing pics for what this machine was built to do.

Fried an in line fuse and wiring between the fuel pump relays and the fuel pump...no juice to the fuel pumps...fortunately stopped in the middle of Lake Tahoe Blvd and not on the trail...getting worked on in Carson City...

I've seen that happen before on a Hemi JK. A buddy and I linked our jeeps together and pulled it about a mile and a half, to get it off the trail.

Good thing it happened in civilization! Hope they get it fixed up quick for you.

Sorry to hear. Hopefully it’s not down for too long so you can get back on your trip!
