Hot Rods & Old Classics - Lets See Em...

Nice bump to the top. Forgot about this thread.
Right now my dad has some cool shit. I know he’ll end up selling/trading cause the disease runs deep but damn I wish this one sticks around. He picked it up recently.

Ever watch Graveyard Cars? All Mopar all the time. Some pretty sweet cars come through.

Bad Ass... What is he running under that hood that needs 110? Was it built for mild drag racing?

We aren’t sure exactly but it’s definitely been rebuilt and souped up. Pump gas just doesn’t have enough octane for the compression. He doesn’t run it straight though. He’ll pour 10 or 15 gallons of the 110 to mix with before filling up at the pump.

If somebody built it so it won’t run pump gas they should have a build sheet for the engine.

They should. You know how things go though. This car has been untouched for many many years and the old guy who had it couldn’t remember much about the car or provide any info on who built the engine. Bummer but that’s how it goes sometimes.

Are you sure you need such high octane? Maybe you just want the lead.
