I really like this mod. The rock lights turn on when you open the door and instantly turn off when the door is closed, just like the interior lights. It's helpful for people getting in and out of the Jeep (especially lifted) at night.

It really is a cool mod. We did ours as well but no diode. I like the diode idea. At night the Jeep is easy to find as soon as you hit the fob.

If you are interested, I used Painless Performance part number 30720. It was about $9 from Summit Racing. I'm sure you can buy bunches of them for that price off of Amazon but I wanted it right away and that was the only one I could find locally.

We may do that. Thanks.

Being that we've all been there..... and know he will grow out of certain things. I think it's cool that he's having fun with it. :thumb:

That’s how I see it too. [emoji106]

Looking back now. Screwing around with cars are some of my fondest memories of being a teenager.

Cool rock light mod too Sharkey.

My oldest son turns 18 in a little over a week. I could go on for days about how this nonsense has changed both his present and future, but we all have stories.

Needless to say, he and his friends are getting tired of being told what to do and he wants to remind the world where he lives. This week he asked if I could make him a flag pole for his Jeep.

Here is where I’m at so far. It’s adjustable so he can get in and out of the garage

Happy belated birthday to your son...I still have the JL Audio subwoofer in my garage in Henderson for him...I'll either drop it off if I go through Reno, or I just might ship it from there...

Thank you! Hang onto it until you come through. I’d still like to buy you a drink/dinner and also give you some good beer for the new pad in Henderson. [emoji106]

Lol! You may just get that chance. That stadium is Sisolak’s baby. I can seriously see him opening it up before he opens schools.

Edit: and I stopped doing the crowded bar thing long before Covid. ;)
