LOL! The problem is always between the keyboard and the chair. Ask me how I know... Anyway, while you're at it post up a pic of yourself and tell us what your real name is. We'd also like for you to post up a pic of your Jeep and tell us a bit about it...

Blazer is Steve Arnett from Portola Ranch, the place where we have had 3 mandatory evacuations in the past month,
but nothing here burnt down. Have been the New Years Runs for the past 10 years(?) sure would not want to miss this one. me.jpg

Hey Steve! Long time no see! Hopefully we can all make the run and be able to catch up.

I asked this in the 2020 thread... But... Would anyone be interested in running some trails in the days leading up to the event?

Nothing overly crazy because I won't be bringing a trailer...

I know there is Rocky Gap trail just outside Vegas. I have heard about a few others in that area.

I guess it all depends on the weather and the snow level...

Greetings Everyone! My real name is Don and my beautiful wife is Lori. This trip we will be in our 2010 JKU that has been modestly modified and has a soft 67k miles on her. We’ve recently retired to Big Bear Lake, CA and we are hoping to travel a good bit once we are allowed to move freely about the country. Hope to see good friends soon! Peace and love to all. 🥸

Looking forward to seeing you both. Bummed you and Jake parked the food truck. It was always my favorite (hence why we asked you to cater our wedding..haha) and made a point to track you guys down when I was in OC.

You're gonna want to wait to see where the start point is before making plans.

True. I believe it was posted that the Mojave Desert was the general area.

Vegas is only 50-100 miles out of that. Just brainstorming at this point. Seeing if people are actually interested.
The mojave desert is nearly 48k square miles. It is primarily in southern CA and NV, but also extends into small portions of UT and AZ...haha.

While it has tended to start someplace between Vegas and Barstow. In 19 it began in Jean and it's begun in Apple Valley. If you're willing to drive a few hours its no big deal..haha.

Yep. Few hour drive is no big deal when you are already driving 20+ hours from home.
