Rotating tires and back to working on death wobble cures. Replaced the Synergy drag link rod end on the pitman arm side with a single plane one. That takes care of the drag link flop and the original one had a small amount of play.

Also started working on the new tie rod setup. Got the knuckles drilled and everything measured out. It got too late to cut the tube adapters from the old ends off the DOM so I’ll take care of that in the morning. Still need to get some locknuts as well.

Old adapters cut off, tube beveled and new fittings tacked in.

Went with two passes on the welds due to depth of the bevel and trying to keep the heat to a minimum. Didn’t want and end to seize up.

Could you put those on top of the knuckle or would it hit the frame? Are they “legal” for street use?

I honestly didn’t check to see but I don’t think hitting the frame would be the issue. It would likely have a clearance issue with the drag link castle nut. As for the legality, I don’t know that either. Most likely not as I think heims in general aren’t DOT approved. I don’t have any concerns about ever getting a ticket for it though.

In Indiana I wouldn’t be worried either about a ticket, I think they look really good

Been slowly working on my steering wobble still. It’s almost gone. Last night I ditched the JKS trackbar and installed one from Synergy. Also noticed the frame side mount holes were slightly wallowed out so I tacked on some thick washers to take up the slop. Haven’t driven it yet but hopeful that the Synergy bushings give it a better feel.

If you find the washers wear out as well over time... I put the Synergy Track bar bracket only on... with their track bar and it made a difference in my steering. Feels Solid. Solved the wallowed hole problem too.

Thanks! If they wear out I may just cut the whole thing off and start fresh. Drove it quite a bit today and the steering feels much better. Not sure how much is the new trackbar and how much is from the holes though. I’ll just say 50/50. Lol
