Devil's Gate Wyoming. Is a natural rock formation created by the sweetwater river. Just a few miles southwest of independence rock, the emigrants used these landmarks to guide them along their journey. Pictures don't do these amazing sites justice.

No the pictures don't, you can see it pretty far out when coming from the other direction, it looks like someone carved a slice out of it the sides are so steep.
 
It was great to meet everyone, have fun on the rest of the trail.
