For those wanting to convoy from Houston to Austin together. Heres a map that im planning on.! Let me know what you guys thing. The black circle at Hwy 6 and I-10 is preffered meeting spot then taking i-10 all the way down to 71 and 71 to the meeting spot to meet up with everyone else. and for those wanting to split it up and you would like to take 290 down ( for those in tomball area etc) I was thinking of meeting up at either the BLUE Circled area or GREEN Circled area. With both areas having some sort of stores or shopping centers at which we could meet up at and wait for either group to meet at. BLUE area is more developed with shopping centers etc. Lmk what you guys want. We can throw a vote and meet up at either location or all roll through the HWY6 & I-10. the RED area is more or less just nothing developed around there. even gas so the best bet will be BLUE or GREEN.

Ill try and get there by 11-11:30 planning on leaving there around 12-1 ish. Will come up with a exact leaving time, depending on if we agree on all meeting AT i-10 and 6 or if we are splitting the group. Just so we can put in some spare time incase it takes longer for either group to get to the meeting spot due to each route having different amount of traffic.

Can't wait to go wheeling and meet all of ya'll. Here's a pic of my jeep. I'll be getting my sliders bolted up and looking for a cb between now and then. Any recommendations on a cb?

Easy install because it plugs into the cig lighter/power outlet. Hardest part was running antenna wire and mounting it on the tailgate. I'm sure there's better out there, but I like it.

Best CB I've used and it doesn't take up a lot of space. I mounted the base unit under the glovebox.
