Driver side door will not lock/open with keyless remote

Doing a little homework it appears that my drivers side door actuator is shot. Has anyone removed and replaced this and done a write-up on it? I disassembled the outer cosmetic panel but behind it is another panel (that has the window regulator attached to it) with about 10 hex bolts holding it down to the door. I removed these bolts and it appears that there is something else holding things back. I didn't want to break anything so buttoned everything back up and now looking for direction on the correct way to remove. While I'm posting, is it possible it's something other than the actuator? The vehicle is a 2010. All the other doors (all two of them - passenger side and lift gate) open and lock with the remote.

I had an issue with my front two windows not operating. I disconnected the battery for about 30 seconds and then re-connected and they worked fine. Guess the computer just got confused or something. It's worth trying that before you tear into it. Not sure if the door locks are controlled by the computer or not but if assume they are.

Just a quick check did you make sure the harness was connected securely?

Yup, what 10frank9 said. Check this first. After the rubicon my pass door was working intermittently. I disconnected the door harness, then reconnected and it was good as new.

Did this multiple times in hopes that it was the quick and easy solution to no avail. Proceeded to tear it down to see if the connection to the actual actuator was loose as well and that where the hiccup started with not being able to easily remove the second panel.

Take a look at this video maybe it'll help you with the second panel.
