What was done to your rig this week?

So I guess I made my first of (hopefully not many!) rookie mistakes. I bought a spare tire cover (just plain black, only about $25) put on the Rubicon and then....No back up camera - just a black screen. After looking at tons of pics here on WAL, I see the majority of people don't have spare tire covers anyway. Also, I totally understand having no back up camera is a First World problem for sure. Standing by for comments!

Cut a small hole for the camera... problem solved.

My hood would make a loud squeak when going over bumps that was driving me crazy, so after checking it out I determined it was coming from the latch rubbing in front so I glued a piece of weatherstrip on it and viola noise is gone :D

Nice work. Always feels good finding and fixing stuff like that.

I'm doing mine in a few weeks. The shop I'm sending it too wants to drop the axle to get to it is all that necessary?

I think it was Cozdude that did them recently for him or a friend or something and said it wasn't necessary but made it a lot easier to get to. Someone here said that in the last few months.

Yes, me, cozdude, sheffadellic and hinrichs pulled the acles to weld on the gussets. Makes for much nicer welds and is a lot easier on the welder. It doesn't really take that long to pull either, we did two axles in an 8 hour day, lots of beer intermissions.
