Most people around here run ARBs. Ive seen Quite a few of them in action and that is what i will be upgrading too. Honestly, you hear of them having to be rebuilt and people complaining they went, but in my opinion, theres just so damn many people out there running ARBs, how can a few not break?

This ^^^

I should note that the ARB had been redesigned a couple of years back and the revised one is stronger and more reliable. For guys that have issues with their air lines melting or getting cut, the problem isn't the air line, it's how it was routed. Do it right and use a braided stainless steel line and you won't have an issue with it. I have been running ARB lockers for 20 years and while they may not be the "perfect" solution, they are one that I have found to work well for me.

I have a friend that runs a ox in 1 ton axles and loves it. No problems at all. He said the only thing that might be a issue is if the cable got moisture in it and rusts. Keep it lubed and no problem. He lived in Alaska with it. Very well made alot of steel around the carrier.

Welcome to WAYALIFE. It's funny because I always hear about how people have a friend that runs one and loves it and while that might be true, I never seem to see them out on the trail our out on events being used. I see plenty of ARB, Detroit and even your run of the mill lunchbox locker like Aussie but never OX. Of course, that's just me.

If i decide to go with ox can i still be a member of this forum even though they are not a vendor and tryied to "pimp"

It's your Jeep, your money and you should do what you want with both. Who gives a shit what anyone here might think.

Well the 1 tons are under a 67 Bronco with 40 inch Ground Hawgs with a built 351 v8 he has had the trk 30 yrs and he says the best mods done were efi and the ox. Since its a Ford he probably not going to be at a Jeep event. I have had 8 Jeeps but he is die hard Ford. We wheeled together for 8 yrs when I was in Alaska.

One great thing about this forum is that everyone has there own idea of what a jeep should be. For every person using a different product the forum collective knowledge gets stronger. Some might claim that you don't know what you are talking about but they are few and far between. Run what you want, spend your money how you want, and report back with your findings good or bad.

Never said your friend wasn't some kind of badass, he's just your friend, not mine and I don't even know who you are. Again, I always hear about how people have a friend that runs one and loves it and while that might be true, I, as in ME, never seem to see them being used.
