That dude from Mississippi
Wow great job with those fenders; really like the line. In TX we gotta keep that side light to pass inspection (least that's what the dealership told me). Not sure what to do with it if I cut mine like that.

A lot of people use a small LED light, under the fender.

Nice DIY work and nice score on the drawer! [emoji106]

I'm no longer in TX and have zero inspections in my part of AZ, but here's what I used from my local O'Reilly Auto...

I hate the look of a yellow light, so I ordered these.

On their way from China as we speak. Stay tuned.

Tuffy Security drawer installed!

Makes it more difficult to adjust seat though, so I'll be adding a handle to my front faceplate that holds power supply and flashlight.

Dealership is full of it. Myself and plenty other Texas guys here don't have that light and pass inspection just fine.

The only thing I'd worry about, is being ticketed for it, if you were in another state.

To me it's just not worth the risk. LED lights are cheap, install quickly (wiring is already there). Why not replace the stock? Only got to get pulled over once, even without a ticket, and you'll wish you had taken 30 min to replace them.

Brought PSI down to 26. Looks a little better but maybe go lower? I'm also thinking lower because if I get a good test at 26 cold and then go for a drive, it's going to heat up and I'd be over inflated again right?

My gas Rotopax has struggled in the past. I live around 5500' and it's easy to double that elevation nearby. When filled with gas, sitting in the sun, the Rotopax swells up. It's a pain to manually bleed the pressure off and sometimes it leaks afterward.

Long term plan is to mount them on tire carrier as such:

I originally was going to drill a hole and then plug it with rubber stopper that would allow pressure to bleed off. I was a little wary of drilling that large of a hole though. Thus, I decided on a much smaller hole. So small, no rubber stopper would be needed.

I started by testing the theory with water on scrap plastic.

Took a needle and heated it up
IMG_20170312_173115.jpg

Then pushed needle through plastic
IMG_20170312_172104.jpg

Put a little water on top, no leakage

Gasoline has a lower surface tension than water, but I'm hoping it'll still not leak even if inverted. At the very least, it'd be a very, very slow leak.

Thus, I repeated the procedure on the Rotopax. I put the hole as high up as possible. When mounted, there shouldn't be any gasoline on it and the vapor should be able to bleed off.

I don't have the mount yet for tire carrier, but I'll see if I can't try out the design sometime, driving to higher elevation.
