Pet Peeves - What Pisses You Off?

What kind of work are you going into? Paramedic school?

Funny you should ask that. But I actually made a career change. I loved being a firefighter but I have gotten a job with a utility company and I will be going through lineman school.

$16K will be a drop in the bucket once your are a lineman. :thumb:

When you're relaxing, just driving down a STEEP mountain shelf-road and some shit-nugget passes you, in a rental jeep, going up on the side of the trail into the fragile tundra, and gives you a dirty look. For a second I felt like I was back home, in LA traffic. We were hoping to see this ass-fuck-face flipped over in the river below. No such luck, so we went back to enjoying our jeeping.

Ooooh, you want "pet peeves" about Jeeps?
Mine is a 2008, got some of those....and I agree with the locks and windows.
Who designs a roof line that drains 2" inside the door frame during a rain storm?
How about the sun visor? Who the fuck thought that was a good idea? No coverage in the upper corner where it is needed the most, and if you move it to cover the side window? Hahahahaha!
Why does the blue in dash high beam indicator have to be brighter than the headlights themselves? I have an old oil change sticker covering mine, the textured finish cuts the light a ton.
The radio antenna never stops vibrating unless I am at a full stop. Could be that clever twisty design that runs the length of it.
And those door handles. Brilliant design. The nice little half C at the thumb button catches every bit of road grit and fills it right up.

Those push buttons on the door handles can freeze. I had to chip ice away with a pocket knife to get in, once.

Ya, filled mine more than once this last winter with salty road slush, glad it never froze though, so one more thing to look forward to lol.

LOL! The "clever twisty design" or helical strakes or loop is meant to prevent vibration.

It might work better on something a bit more aerodynamic than a block. My TJ antenna didn't do more than flex back a bit.
