My idea was so the “brain” could be under my seat and have the mic just come out between the seat and console and hook to the dash. I didn’t want a radio hanging up by the rear view mirror. I almost bought that really little one but I didn’t want to have to bug anyone about doing the solder fix for me.

Cool, thanks. I'm thinking about doing the same. I just wasn't sure which radio I wanted to go with. Let me know what you think once you get it tuned if you wouldn't mind.

I sure will, it takes me forever to do anything but I’ll try to hurry since I have a reason now!
Edit there is a cheaper version of this that doesn’t have noaa weather too

Was hoping cb would show up but there was no box by the door. I went to get the mail and there was a bag in the mailbox! That was encouraging since I wanted a small cb.

And there is an extension cord so the mic can be further from the head unit
