What was done to your rig this week?

I went off this screenshot but it’s been so long ago I don’t have a clue where I saw it. Probably the internet so it’s got to be right, right?

I blindly believe everything I see on the internet....

I looked on the internet and didn't see any pics for the EVO rear arms orientation. I installed them this way for two reasons. 1) The bend seemed to match up with the factory arm. 2) It's easier to drop the body side mount to make adjustments without removing the rear tires. The arms clear both rear tires now, so I'll keep it this way until I see installation instructions proving otherwise.

It looks really clean. Nice job.

Is that a 304 I see in the background?

Thanks. Why yes that is a 304. A PO swapped in a 304/T150/Dana 20 from the 78 CJ7. It's a great engine, ran great and no problems before I broke down the Jeep. But the T150 has to go. On the dunes, I have to run in 4lo to have any kind of climbing power. The T150's 1st gear just isn't deep enough. Eventually, I want to swap in a 4 or 5 speed.

I run a T5 and it’s great. It’s gives that extra higher gear at highway speeds and low enough to power through the dunes.

I just called EVO MFG and asked about this. Guy on the phone (didn't get name) said it doesn't matter which way they are mounted. He said, since they have to choose one way, they choose the adjuster to be at the axle end.

I never meant yours were wrong, I just wondered if it even mattered which way they are installed, mine seem to fit and don’t rub either

Just installed Crown heavy duty steering kit on my sons TJ, was pretty impressed with the quality. Tons better than the Rusty’s kit that only lasted 18 months or so

1) I finished up the install of the twin ARB compressor.
2) Organized my hand tools, pneumatic lines, and medical kit into some Seahorse hard cases. They've allowed me to really clean up the storage compartment I built.
3) Transported my niece's Christmas Gift (Power Wheels Jeep) to a better hiding spot. Jeep in a Jeep... Jeepception... lol

I think he is going to buy or order them today, I stopped offering to pick stuff up cause I never get paid back, he’s 26 now I think he can pay for stuff by now! After he had the death wobble a couple times I looked for any bolts that might have moved and the only one on the whole jeep I saw was the front driver side sway bar to axle bracket bolt that had moved
